💛 Soon-to-be-demolished Peace Centre and the artist studio
Hello, dear readers.. thank you so much for your patience. It has been a while since I last updated my journal. I have been busy setting up a temporary artist studio at the soon-to-be-demolished Peace Centre, which has turned into a space for creative experimentation under the initiative of PlayPan Co.
As for those who have visited my studio at Peace Centre, thank you so much for signing up to be on my mailing list. It is very much appreciated that I get to be in your inbox and connect with you.
The community at Peace Centre are excitedly gearing up for the Grand Finale at Peace Centre before it is handed over for redevelopment at the end of January 2024. Do pay us a visit before we move out of the space from 29 Jan onwards. There are many programmes currently ongoing.
Meanwhile, I have been working hard in the studio to present a showcase of large-scale sketch works made during my short 6-week stint in the studio.
It is an exploration and tribute to the sun's warmth as a nurturing and supportive presence for me titled :
A Walk with the Sun : A large-scale sketchbook exploration

Over the past few weekends, I have been quietly collaborating with a Sound Creative, Jean Reiki, who will offer the community a Sound Offering while I guide participants on a Soulful Art journey this weekend. Additionally, Rae Lee will guide participants on a Conscious Ecstatic Dance routine this Sunday. No dance background is needed as we tap into our innate bodies' need to move with music.
